Final Blog! Our testimony and challenge for you!

Dear Amazing Supporters!
We are safe and well here in Tha.iland. The political unrest that has been going on since March hit its peak last week. Many people were dying in the protests and even more riots were breaking out in other states as well as our neighboring province. Thankfully the government stepped in last week and took control of the situation. Things seem to have calmed down and now there’s a lot of damage repair being done. Praise God that for the time being the hostility has stopped!
We are having a wonderful time here at the children’s home and having wonderful opportunities to minister to and with the youth living here. There are 60 students living in the home and we already love each one of them! Everyday we take them to school and pick them up. In the evenings we play with them, have game time, Bible study, prayer time, and teaching. It has been wonderful to watch our relationships deepen with them and be able to teach them more about the God who loves them. We’ve also been giving them an hour English lesson each night which has been a joy! We have been to several village churches and go to another this Sunday. We love going to these villages and fellowshipping with fellow believers! We feel very blessed with our time here and feel that each day was well spent! We leave this coming Wednesday to begin our 2 day journey home! We would greatly appreciate your prayers as we travel!
We are truly amazed with the last 6 months. We have seen God do amazing things in us and through us. The many youth groups that have been started due to our training gives us so much joy that God used us! We feel that our time in As.ia was orchestrated by God and we are just beginning to see the fruits of our labor here. We are SO GRATEFUL for each of you that made this journey possible for us. We worked hard, striving each day to carry out the passion and burden God gave us as he sent us here. These past 6 months have changed our lives, and going forward we know we will never be the same. Our entire perspective on life, suffering, and the true burden of carrying out the gospel has changed. We met with over 30 pastors, trained them in what we knew about youth ministry and learned from them what it means to LIVE your life entirely for Christ, holding nothing back for yourself. In each of the places we stayed we lived with the leaders of the different ministries. This was a great opportunity to develop deep and lasting relationships with those who are making a HUGE difference in In.dia and Tha.iland. They are working with all their hearts each and every day, to bring to completion the vision God has given them for reaching the people around them.
We would like to take this opportunity to share with you our testimony of the great things God is doing in As.ia and to give you a special challenge. We realize that not everyone can travel to the different places and SEE what God is doing in and through his people, but we have seen with our own eyes and are sharing with you: God is moving and working through the people here. Lives are being changed because of the hard work of the church planters and workers here. We hope to make clear that this final challenge of our testimony is not us asking for money, but us giving an account of what we’ve seen and witnessed and know with all our hearts needs to be supported. God’s work is being done; people are being reached every day because of the labor of the church planters and gospel workers. We plead with you to consider our testimony; what we have witnessed, the amazing effort we have seen day in and day out from these workers and support them in any way you possibly can. They ARE taking the gospel to the corners of their country. At www.globalfellowship.com you can see the many different ministries we have worked alongside and witnessed in these past 6 months. We urge you to choose one and fully commit to supporting a gospel worker in whatever way you can. Again, we emphasize that this is not us looking for more supporters or donors for Global Fellowship. We have felt the burden deep on our hearts for many months to share with you the hard work we are seeing and the GREAT DIFFERENCE it is making across Nor.thern In.dia and Th.ailand. When you witness workers like this and the lives they live, you know you have to share with others the testimony of what you’ve seen and heard. We care for each of these workers and the labor they are putting in, even their very lives, and we know we cannot personally support them all. So we call upon you to look at the different ministries we’ve worked with and consider which you would like to stand alongside as they continue in their work of carrying the gospel to as many as they can during their life. We cannot tell you how much our relationship with each of these workers has changed us. Watching them give up everything so that they can carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many as possible has challenged us greatly. We are SO VERY THANKFUL to each of you for giving us the support needed to carry out this passion we had for reaching the youth in In.dia. We both feel that God used us for his glory during this time. We began this journey with a passion and goal to reach the youth, but God exceeded all of our expectations and did immeasurably more than we ever hoped or imagined. We cannot wait to share more of our testimony with you in person!! We are so excited to come home after so long and see so many of you! We cannot emphasize how much your support and encouragement has brought us through, especially during those hard times. We love you all!

LOVE,
Jeremy and Anne Beaumont!

Glad to hear the trip has such a big impact on both of you. We'll have to get together sometime this summer so I can hear the rest of it!
